Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit our website, message us or ask for a treatment plan.

1. Who we are

This website is run by SDS Dental Turkey, operated by Dr. Seçil Duygu Sümengen Yazıcı ("SDS Dental", "we", "us"). Our clinic is located at Koçbaş İş Merkezi, Altınkum, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Blv. Kat:1, 07070 Konyaaltı/Antalya, Türkiye. For any privacy question you can write to info@secilsumengenyazici.com or message us on WhatsApp at +90 547 614 07 08.

We are the data controller of the personal information described below. We process data in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and, for visitors from the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.

2. What information we collect

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send you marketing messages unless you asked to hear from us.

4. Legal bases

We process your data to take steps at your request before a treatment (contract), to meet our legal obligations as a healthcare provider, for our legitimate interest in running and improving our clinic and website, and, where required, with your explicit consent (for example for health data you send us, and for advertising technologies).

5. Meta Pixel and advertising

We use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) on this website. It records actions such as visiting a page, clicking the WhatsApp button or sending a contact form, so that we can measure our advertising and show our ads to people who may be interested. Meta may receive information such as your IP address, browser details and the pages you viewed. We do not send medical details or the content of your messages to Meta.

You can control ads in your Facebook and Instagram settings and block tracking in your browser settings.

6. Messages on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp

If you write to us through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, we receive your name or profile name, your account identifier and the messages you send. We store them in our private patient enquiry system so that our clinic team can reply. Only authorised clinic staff can access it.

7. Who we share your data with

We share data only when needed: with service providers that help us run the clinic (website hosting, email, messaging and our enquiry system), with dental laboratories working on your case, with public authorities when the law requires it, and with professional advisers. These providers may be located outside Turkey. Where data is transferred abroad we apply the safeguards required by KVKK and GDPR.

8. How long we keep your data

Enquiries that do not lead to treatment are deleted after a reasonable period, normally within 24 months. Patient records are kept for the period required by Turkish health legislation.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to confirm whether we hold your data, to give you a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to withdraw your consent at any time. To use these rights write to info@secilsumengenyazici.com. We reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, if you live in the UK or EU, to your local data protection authority.

10. Deleting your data

To have your personal data deleted, email info@secilsumengenyazici.com with the subject "Please delete my data" and tell us the name, phone number or social media account you used to contact us. We will delete it within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep.

11. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and trusted providers to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive details through channels you do not trust.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
